Beautiful views of the lake were a highlight.

We faced several discomforts during our stay. The rooms lacked adequate heating, which was a significant issue in mid-October. It made our nights quite uncomfortable, and our clothes absorbed a musty smell from the humidity. Additionally, the thin walls allowed too much noise from neighboring rooms, which disturbed our sleep at times.

Oh, the homemade meals at Ristorante il Vapore? Simply divine! We had one of the best dinners of our trip, showcasing authentic flavors that you can't resist. Plus, the owner is a gem and the room was spacious with a lovely balcony, perfect for taking in the views.

Now, the floors creaked a bit, so you might hear a shuffle here and there, but it added to the charm rather than detracted from our stay!

the room smelled strange, almost like an old sock, which was intriguingly off-putting. Oh, and let’s not forget the fan, a true vintage piece! Clearly, I expected at least a welcome gift for such inconveniences, but no, just standard treatment here. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t overlook it all.

The location is fantastic, right by the lake with local attractions easily accessible. However, some rooms lack air conditioning, which could be uncomfortable during warmer months.

I loved staying here because the beautiful lake view from my balcony was stunning and the friendly hosts made the experience feel like home. being just a few steps from the charming center of menaggio and only around 500 meters from the beach made my city strolls incredibly enjoyable. , but it would be great if the rooms had air conditioning for warmer days.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially the incredible homemade food. Tasting the local dishes prepared by the owner’s son was a highlight. With my wife and our 5 adult children, the beautiful lake view from our room made our mornings even more special.

My wife says that it would be great if there were a lift for easier access with our luggage.
